Art Rebel is a forward thinking creative space located in Los Angeles, California. We have been featured on Fox News,in the Daily News, mydailyfind.com, The Fairy Jobmother, and Style Network’s show Peter Perfect. Our mission is for people to reconnect with their creative self. It is our intent to bridge that creative gap by providing art education programs, community beautification projects, and outreach/mentoring youth programs. We strive to spread awareness of important causes and to further educate the public through creative avenues. We are advocates for the arts and the environment.

Our studio provides art enrichment programs for community outreach centers and schools that no longer have the funding for art programs at their respective locations. We are currently collaborating with:

  • Egglestons Group Homes
  • Variety’s Gift of Learning Programs
  • Boys and Girls Club
  • Starlight Foundation
  • The Los Angeles County PARKS AFTER DARK (PAD) Program. (This is a component of the County’s Gang Initiative intended to reduce gangs and gang violence.)

The Art Rebel Green Initiative is to spread awareness of how we can help the environment by using creative solutions. Art Rebel is focused on becoming the first completely eco-friendly art studio by 2012. We use all non-toxic environmentally friendly paints, changed our lighting fixtures to more energy efficient bulbs, and have a recycling program dedicated to transforming our everyday discarded items into recycled works of art that we use for our eco-art class, The Green Rebel. This art program provides students an opportunity to think outside the box, become productive members of society, help the environment, and enables students to create amazing pieces of art. What is one man’s trash is another man’s treasure. It is Art Rebel’s intention to raise this awareness one artist at a time, ultimately creating a domino effect for responsible social consciousness and change.
